SAVING GROUP
Every Wednesday, a group of about 25 men and women meet together for saving group. The purpose of this group is to teach parents how to make wise financial decisions and learn how to be better providers for their families. Each week, the parents bring a small amount of money to the group and combine it together. With the money, they open an account and continue to add money to it every week. These parents get to watch what it looks like to grow a bank account by saving, and at the end of the year, they can look back and see the progress that they’ve made.
A TESTIMONY
So far, three women have been able to open small businesses, and they’ve been able to purchase a motorbike for one parent to use as a moto-taxi business. These small businesses include opening small shops to sell local crops, clothes, goods, etc.
SINGLE WOMEN ASSOCIATION
Each week, a group gathers. Women from the village bring their sewing materials, fabric, and full hearts. With little ones strapped to their backs, the ladies arrive week after week to bring their creative ideas to life and share stories of Jesus.
They gather to make their jewelry, baskets, woven products, and table coasters…but more importantly they gather to experience community, share their triumphs and trials, and hear about the Gospel. Each week they learn about Jesus and His reckless love for each of them.
Many of these women have been rescued from a life of prostitution. Through the weekly gatherings, they learn about the healing Jesus provides and are taught about personal hygiene and self-defense.
PRAYER GROUP
We believe in the practices of the early church and the importance prayer plays into the growth of a community. We believe that prayer unites us as a community to one another and to God Himself. We want to be intentional in setting aside a time and a place for our body of believers to come and experience the Trinity.
Monday prayer group is a great time to come together as one body and worship The Father no matter where you’re from or how much money you have! It’s a time to pray, sing, dance, and hear a few sermons. There is prophesying and lots of time praying for others. Every week, we see people get healed, delivered, and come to know Jesus. God is doing big things through Kingdom Gate prayer group!
Youth Group
Youth group is an opportunity for local youth (ages 14-30) to come together and walk in deeper intimacy with Jesus. These gatherings consist of worship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability. These people get a chance to ask questions and learn what it looks like to walk in daily fellowship with The Father. It’s a place where these young adults find freedom from their struggles and a safe place from hard families. They learn to walk in confidence and live as leaders in their community.
